Apparently, women in many cultural backgrounds in the past were more inclined to urinate standing up than they are today. And women in the past may have had a freer social environment for that than they do today. In doing so, Asian women may be more inclined than women in other parts of the world when it comes to female urination. Considering the fact that women urinate in public, it seems that in the past the barriers for women to do so may have been less than in the present. Asian women may be more inclined to do so than women in other parts of the world as well.
